From David Mundie: The ramble was a delightful mix of gaming, high technology, and old-fashioned perambulation. Tensions ran high as participants got caught up in the chase; there were cries of dismay as it was discovered that there was not just one hotmail address written on the wall, there were several (not all of them G-rated), and the U-shaped swing seats had many of us puzzled. Everyone agreed that the experience helped them bond with their GPSs.

Description: For this ramble, Peter Little and Daryle Niedermayer have prepared a special walking tour to introduce us to geocaching. Participants will use hand-held GPS's to locate ten points on Simaisma beach, and must answer questions about each point. This is not intended to be a race, but rather to give us practice in using a GPS to navigate and find things.
